Head of Land
Descripción
We are looking for a Head of Land to lead and grow our Land & Development business in Spain, driving strategic advisory, land transactions and development opportunities across residential, mixed-use and urban regeneration projects.
This person will play a key role in expanding Dils Spain’s presence within the land and development market, building strong relationships with developers, investors, landowners and public stakeholders, while helping consolidate the company’s positioning within one of the most strategic areas of the real estate industry.
Responsibilidades
Lead and develop the Land & Development business line in Spain, identifying new opportunities across residential, mixed-use, hospitality and urban development sectors.
Advise clients on land acquisitions, disposals, development strategies and urban planning opportunities.
Originate and execute land transactions, coordinating the full commercial process from sourcing and underwriting to negotiation and closing.
Build and maintain relationships with developers, investors, family offices, landowners, public entities and other key market stakeholders.
Analyze market trends, urban planning regulations and development pipelines across different regions in Spain.
Work closely with Capital Markets, Residential, Hospitality and other business lines to identify cross-selling and business opportunities.
Support clients in defining highest and best use strategies, feasibility analysis and development positioning.
Lead strategic pitches, client presentations and business development initiatives.
Represent Dils Spain externally through industry events, conferences and networking initiatives.
Coordinate and mentor the Land team, fostering a commercial, entrepreneurial and collaborative culture.
Collaborate with the broader Dils international platform to support cross-border investment and development opportunities.
Requirimientos
Proven experience within Land & Development, Capital Markets or investment advisory in a real estate consultancy, developer, investment firm or advisory environment.
Strong understanding of the Spanish land market, urban planning framework and development landscape.
Track record in sourcing and executing land transactions and development opportunities.
Strong commercial and negotiation skills with an established market network.
Ability to combine strategic vision, financial understanding and market knowledge.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
High level of English and Spanish required.
