Head of Research

Description

We are looking for a Head of Research to lead and shape our Research function in Spain, driving market intelligence, strategic analysis and thought leadership across the business.

This person will play a key role in positioning Dils as a market reference by producing high-value insights that support both our clients and internal business lines, while helping structure and scale the Research area in line with the company’s growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Research function in Spain across different asset classes, including Offices, Retail, Logistics, Hospitality, Living and Residential.

• Produce market reports, strategic insights and sector analysis for clients, internal teams and business development initiatives.

• Identify macroeconomic, financial and real estate trends impacting the Spanish and European markets.

• Work closely with Capital Markets, Leasing, Residential and other business lines to support commercial activity and client pitches.

• Drive data quality, research methodologies and reporting standards across the company.

• Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors, developers, operators and key market stakeholders.

• Represent Dils Spain externally through industry events, publications, media participation and thought leadership initiatives.

• Coordinate and mentor the Research team, fostering a collaborative and analytical culture.

• Collaborate with the broader Dils international platform to align market intelligence and cross-border initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading or working within a Research team in a real estate consultancy, investment firm or advisory environment.

• Strong understanding of the Spanish real estate market and investment landscape.

• Background in commercial real estate research, market analysis, consulting or strategy.

• Ability to combine analytical rigor with commercial and strategic vision.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with data visualization tools is highly valued.

• High level of English and Spanish required.
