About the role

Dils is building its Debt business in Spain and is looking for an Analyst to join the team in Madrid.

The role will support the team across real estate debt transactions, working closely with senior professionals throughout the different stages of a transaction. It is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys understanding how a deal works, working with financial information and turning it into clear analysis and transaction materials.

Responsibilities

• Support the team in the origination and execution of real estate financing and refinancing transactions.

• Analyse investment opportunities, assets and business plans to understand their financing needs.

• Build and update financial models, including cash flows, debt structures, leverage and different financing scenarios.

• Analyse and compare financing alternatives from banks, debt funds and other lenders.

• Prepare financing proposals, lender presentations, teasers, information memorandums and other transaction materials.

• Support the preparation of lender processes, from identifying relevant financing providers to managing information requests and follow-up.

• Work with clients and other advisors to collect, review and structure financial and operational information.

• Support due diligence and the preparation of materials required by lenders throughout the transaction.

• Follow the progress of transactions and help coordinate different workstreams to ensure execution runs smoothly.

• Participate in meetings with clients, lenders and other stakeholders as the level of experience develops.

• Develop an understanding of the Spanish real estate debt market, including lender appetite, financing structures, pricing and market dynamics.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in Real Estate Finance, Debt Advisory, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Valuations or a similar environment.

• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.

• Good understanding of financial statements, cash flows, leverage and debt structures.

• Advanced Excel skills and good PowerPoint skills.

• Previous experience in real estate is highly valued, particularly exposure to financing or investment.

• Ability to work with complex information and translate it into clear and structured analysis.

• Strong attention to detail and a hands-on approach to execution.

• Comfortable working across several projects and with tight deadlines.

• Good communication skills and interest in developing a commercial and client-facing profile over time.

• Fluent Spanish and English.
